Reality check

One would not wish to rubbish, personally, any one person involved in the CVT saga but, I feel, the assetions about the ability of the present incumbant of the CEO position contrast, starkly, with the opinions of just about everyone at the airport. Compliments about management style, expertise and the relationships fostered at the airport in the last two years are extremely hard to find. Do feel free to ask around to substantiate this assertion. Indeed you will find many people with axes to grind but, frankly, the regime did nothing to foster goodwill from within and some will say they actually, on occasions, went out of their way to create conflict both within and outside the business.

Regardless of whether or not the top job at CVT is an impossible task (and my personal belief is that it was spiked somewhat before the present regime took control), the role required a good deal more charisma, creativity, strategic intelligence and, yes, competence than has been present in the last two years.
