Thinking about it, I diverted once becasue I was bored! Coming back from Scotland, after 3 hours flying I had had enough. Just wanted a cup of coffee and a leg stretch, so I asked if I might pop into Southend. As usual they were most accomodating. The rest of the flight was far more pleasant in consequence.
