Same old tricks
The worst thing about Qantas is their pilot recruiting. The same things that you guys are seeing now has been going on for years and it is a shame to see that despite new management these old tricks continue to be played out.
I have noticed that time on the hold file is a very unfair and difficult to measure science. It seems that certain companies {such as GFS} get through the hold file a lot quicker than everyone else, coincidence?
I wish you guys all the best in a very unstable environment, however is is still blatantly obvious that Qantas will need hundreds of guys over the next few years so the hold file will progress eventually. Despite their wish, they cant fill every slot with the most inexperienced pilots in the industry, oh i mean cadets.
