I think all the points listed here have proven me right. If you are coming to Dubai and wanting something decent to live in (ie:a two-three bedroom house in a not so flashy neighbourhood) then expect to fork out from your pocket. There may not be income tax here but there are deductions everywhere on whatever you do. Dubai is staring to become uncompetitive cos of the greed of a part of the population. In times of crisis like these I wonder whether these same people realise that they are living in a real world where their bubble can really pop in their face!!
