Passenger numbers at Kent International Airport are set to swell dramatically over the next few decades. Bosses have been unveiling their 25-year masterplan at the site in Manston, Thanet.
Here we go again. "Masterplans" don't generate passengers any more than surveys do. That's not me being a "doom monger" - just recognising the difference between people talking about future development and that development actually occuring. You can carry out all the research, consultation and discussion you like, but the only thing which really counts is whether the airport can attract the business.
