A slight thread drift here but I think you'll find there is an awful lot of opposition against this development. It hasn't gone through as easily as had been hoped so don't expect a definite yes by the council this time either. Have an search of various sites and blogs and you'll see why locals are against it.
Meanwhile, the first jobs out of an expected 550 are being advertised at the thanetearth project near the airport.
