Football / Rugby flights

I see these have at long last started to roll in............so far the following are listed in the FIDs :

European Air Charter B737-200 CWL-DUS-CWL
European Air Charter B737-200 CWL-CPH-CWL
Skyblue Airways ATR42 CWL-VBS-CWL
Pronair Airlines MD87 PGF-CWL-PGF
Air Southwest DH8 GLA-CWL
Aer Lingus A330 DUB-CWL-DUB
Aer Lingus A321 DUB-CWL-DUB

Not forgetting the Monarch B757 flights to ACE, LPA, DLM, TFS for Thomas Cook at the end of October - fingers crossed the yellow aircraft will be a permanent fixture by Summer 2009 at CWL.

There was another Pullmantur Air B747-400 flight on Monday operating CWL-YYC direct, this time only 122 troops plus equipment, weapons & baggage - would have been cheaper to fly them on a RAF VC10 or Tristar !! There is a VC10 parked up at RAF St Athan !!

Jet 2 are operating the Thomas Cook BRS-SSH flight this winter instead of XL Airways - anyone know what is happening with the CWL-SSH flight for Thomas Cook or will they just share on the Thomsonfly flight ? Surely this route must have sold quite well so it will be hard to combine 2 flights on one aircraft.................we may gain another carrier on this !
