Sorry to introduce some facts into the rhetoric, but JF was recruited for a very specific reason. He was to form a buffer between the management and the HKAOA negotiating team of the time, as the company was using intimidatory tactics against the HKAOA negotiating team. He came extremely well recommended, with an excellent track record in his previous life. Unfortunately, the company got in a real snit about the HKAOA retaining 'professional negotiators' (even though they had the enormous resources of ATY behind them to number crunch), and refused to talk to him, in fact at first he wasn't even allowed in the negotiating room.
