Suggestion 1:
Cars travel at high speed across the new fly-over, travel once round the roundabout and proceed down the hill using the current access road, to park in a new car park located on the former Vauxhall site.
A high-tech bendy bus then takes customers up the hill again using the current access road or in good weather passengers may opt for the environmentally friendly approach and walk up the hill with their suitcases.
The project could be financed by car park charges starting from £5 for the first 5 minutes. If the pick up and set-down area were also re-located then this would ensure customers have to pay a minimum of £30 to drop-off their loved ones. OK this may be marginally more than any low-cost
air ticket but it would help finance the repairs to the terminal floor.
