I don't think it's a case of having my cake and eating it I think its more a case of damned if I do and damned if I don't.
If I take offence at being cast as some sort of bean brained coffee monkey working for £5.00 an hour at Air Chav-tastic and I try to balance that stereotype with some of the better aspects of the job then suddenly I'm frittering £50 notes away on a fiesta of private air charter in Rio.
My job isn't all hellish 17 hour days filled with vomiting babies, combative chavs or the fundamentalist in 13k trying to light his shoelaces... but then neither is it one long champagne filled gad around the planet at the employers expense. The truth, as is so often the case is somewhere between these two extremes.
As for being number one on the terrorists hit list - well maybe not - the fact still remains we are on that list as September 11th, the liquid bomb plot and countless other hijackings over the years testify to.
