Very well said. My limited understanding of the labour laws is that it is illegal to continually recycle casual employees. I hope you are right about it contravening the laws to have a local contract worker employed for more than two years without the offer of a full time position.
I can't see the government rushing to their assistance but I'm sure Chilin' Bill would have to act after the two years if it was brought to his attention.

The irony is that they are aren't saving that much money. They are just making one Nigerian very rich at the expense of many.

Foamy, perhaps you can enlighten us as to the legality of 'two year' local contractors?
