Thanks Duck . . .

. . . for re-opening this thread. As a matter of fact, a few things changed lately worth mentioning. Upgrade is not driven by expansion and pure needs, now its more a cost efficiency factor. The finance department will decide on the amount of upgrades next year which is not an appealing situation per sé.

Even worse, a few crewmembers which joined lately, some of them highly experienced and qualified, were promised fast upgrade. Accepted the pay-cut and were hoping to pin on the fourth stripe again soon. And now? Get in line with the seniority and if you are Number 1100 you might have some time to think on the right seat.

It appears that recruiting comes to a stop for a while, we still get new aircarft delivered, but a few old ones will leave too. So overall a neutral situation.
NTA is transforming to a normal progression kind of semi-airline with the normal waiting time for upgrade.

However solid prepared for the upcoming stormy business season, I guess we have just seen the tip of the industry correction process and to be honest, it feels good to know that Uncle Warren is making smart deals right now.

Will be intresting to see how Jet Republic and Co will get thru if they even get their nose into the wind.
Especially with those skippers.
