Earlier this year I went through the process of selecting a light helicopter to buy, checking out and investigating all the usual candidates.
In the end I did not buy an Enstrom, but I was very impressed. They appear to be well engineered, safe, nice handling and good value. And the enquiries I made at the factory were all dealt with reassuringly.
Certainly, if I wanted a turbine, I'd be very keen on the 480B.
Of course, access to relable servicing is paramount.
