My advise was not posted to offend. If you feel its right for you then go ahead. I am merely pointing out that it's not the only option nor should people who aspire to be cabin crew begin to think this is the way the entire industry works, because it isn't. In fact to date Tiger is the only airline in Australia asking it's crew to pay for what they must provide as part of their regulatory obligations. My advise to anyone applying to be crew would be to attend an interview for every other possible airline before you agree to pay for a job as a last resort.
Nor was I suggesting that anyone sit around unemployed until such time as they get a crew job. There is other work out there and plenty of it will help you in building a resume that is attractive to the airlines.
