It was a Lockheed Jetstar, I've seen the photographs, taken at Heathrow, of the dent on top of the nose just in front of the co-pilots windscreen, yet it still managed to go around. Might have the photos somewhere . . . .
Edited to add: Maybe I am thinking of N267L which was the rwy 08 overrun.
