easy have cut back the number of flights to Jersey per week, so no doubt prices over the Xmas holidays will not be cheap?

I personally cannot see that the runway length would be a major problem, Cale operated 400 up with their Tristars on a 4 hour hop to Cyprus and with the 3 class configuration operated by Emirates, the flights I would imagine operate well below max take off weight? I guess the issue is more can you stop if an engine goes bang before rotation?
Now if LBC had invested in the infrastructure inc starter extension that UPS wanted, this would not be an issue. Sadly UPS went to East Midlands and with it lots of income!
