Sorry, can you say that again please ???
Sympathies. I'm suffering in a similar way too ! Generally happens a few time per year and it is frustrating. I had a very minor cold last week and had to fly on 3 consecutive days. In aniticpation of problems I took a decongestant orally about 1-1.5 hours before flying, andf felt perfectly fine before flying, well, on day 1 anyway. Thursday was a x-country no higher than 4.5k and was a little deaf on landing, but generally was better Friday morning. However, then spent Friday (climbing above about 5k on first and second flight and there was squelching and popping, wasn't painful though!) and Saturday repeatedly going up and down to 10k in an unpressurised cabin and it still it feels like my ear(s) are full of water 2 days later, i.e. quite deaf at the moment. I was thinking of going to the pharmicist to see if there are any drops for the ear.
What's this trick with the salt water ? where do you put it - in your nose ? Sounds painful ??
Yours muffled,
