as for the Angel..
as you can see it still uses the original jabiru cooling ducts, just glassed over the fwd intakes, and a porsche cooling fan now forces air over the heads via custom manufactured ducts into the top of the original ducting.
im not sure if you can see on the second photo, a bracket has been machined and attached to the front of the engine to take the drive shaft loading off the main bearings.
Apparently there are 3 of these helicopters in OZ, and this one was originally powered by a Rotax 582, though it proved difficult to keep temps under control resulting in reliability issues, though now with the Jab 2200 it has plenty of power, and reliability is as can be expected from a Jabiru.
oh, and they are Kit built! and the workmanship in this aircraft is astounding!
