I went to SA back in 2000 and converted my UK fATPL to an SA CPL. Had to write all seven of the SA CPL subjects, get a medical and then did the flight test. Fairly straight forward.
My UK ATPL will be unfrozen soon and now I wish to go for the SA ATPL but the thought of doing all seven ATPL subjects (many of which are a rehash of the CPL exams with some icing on the cake) does not fill me with glee. I've been away from SA for two years so not too sure what has changed.
Perhaps we can all swap some info and help each other on this?
