Be
very careful when delaying your ATPL exams. If you do not complete them within 18 months of having taken the first exam and do not get the IR, you will have to take them
all again. If you get an IR within the 18 months, they will be valid for seven years. The idea is that you will gain the full ATPL within the seven years.
