Aircraft blocked
On this subject, I was intrigued by the aircraft prevented from leaving Sandford.
The Sunday Times has a story that the info leaked out from the crew to the groundstaff, who had the aircraft stopped as XL owed money to the airport.
But my understanding is that few places other than the UK have the legal ability to do this
So was the US distraint legal ?
Pity the crew could not have ignored the requests and continued with the flight.....didnt something like this happen with a Court Line aircraft which managed to escape from Newfoundland the day the company went down ?
