Busiest Ever Month At London Luton Airport

Record passenger performance saw London Luton Airport handle 1,095,956 passengers during August, the busiest month in the Airport’s history. This represented an increase of 2.6% on the previous year equating to over 27,000 additional passengers.
Bucking the trend for the major London Airports, these positive growth figures are expected to continue with nine new services still to launch in 2008, including further inroads into France, Italy, Poland, Romania and Lithuania from Ryanair and Wizz Air alongside new services to the Benelux region with London Luton's newest airline transavia.com who have today announced a new twice daily Rotterdam jet service commencing 27 October 2008.
