I'm afraid Sand Dune Sam's wrong!
It was ANSW after Ansett bought it from Stewie Middlemiss who owned Barrier Airways.
The pilots were on the ANSW seniority list till all the Ansett pilots were integrated.
My wife was a hostie on the boats.
