Both TOM & XLA had CWL-SSH flights for Winter 2008-2009, the TOM flights are not affected, however following the collapse of XLA yesterday, their CWL-SSH flights which were due to be operated by a B737-900 are now cancelled.
These flights were for Thomas Cook so Im sure either TCX will take over or another carrier altogether - luckily it was just the XLA aircraft and not an XL.com holiday.
As mentioned earlier great to see the Marketing Dept at CWL have secured Fly Globespan so quick after the failure of Zoom, lets hope they secure a new CWL-SFB just as quick, you never know Fly Globespan could step in or even TCX themselves.
Also quite a few large sporting events ahead, football & rugby and then we have the cruise flights - I see Servisair have already entered in the FIDs Montego Bay, Bridgetown, Miami & Acapulco.
Lets hope this winter CWL secure as many contracts as possible !!!!
