Angel Missing FDR/CVR becoming common in NIGERIA

Dear aviators,
Just wandering if anyone can shed some light on the issue of missing flight data recorders, and cockpit voice recorders. It has become a very common in Nigeria. Two perfect examples are B3 210, and the wings aviation B1900D.
It is, nevertheless, disappointing that the flight data recorder (FDR) and cockpit voice recorder (CVR) of the B1900D went missing. These devices are clearly marked, and are easily identified on Aircrafts.
Can someone shed some light, and stir us all in the right direction. Whats happening to these devices, as they are our only clues to discovering the cause of the crash, and possibly improving flight safety.
For example Egyptair Flight 990, B767 crashed over the atlantic, and FDR/CVR was recovered miles under the ocean floor, same as kenya airways B737-800 in Douala, cameroun.

Thank you Nigeria
