Ah the old 30/20. Really you should find a school that can provide a G1 for 50 hours. I'm not sure 30 hours is enough to fully prepare you to start instructing. I've heard guys whinging about having to do 20 hours of CCTS with another trainee to finish the rating. How is this beneficial?

CASA is upping the standard for initial G3's I hear. So perhaps now some schools will start treating the 20 hours with respect and use them wisely.
