Guys getting into RJ with 400 hours TT.
I say count your blessings.
So what should the guys with 200TT (fresh out of airman training) in the USAF/Navy who just started flying fighters and bombers do? The whole TT time thing is BS the reason the times were so high long ago (70's) was because aviation was being compared to the maritime industry, where you would find seasoned captain's that had thousands of hours in the sea. There are copilots in Europe and Africa with less than 500TT flying right seat in L1011's. Let's not even mention Russia. If TT was actually a factor, the FAA would be setting the flight time standards for airline pilot hiring.
And now we have to deal with the UGLY AMERICANS who now want to come overseas and fly.One year ago the ugly Americans would have balked at the thought of working overseas, now these prositutes with their cheap plastic FAA certificates and lack of knowledge (-who don't know what QNH, QFE, or QNE is-) want to come here to fly.
Your a racist, and maybe your angry because you're the only 'black man' (as your user name suggests) in Vancouver, Canada. George Bush's approval rating is less than 30% so not everyone agrees with him.Your an idiot for not knowing that someone who is in a position of power can do whatever they want without the approval of others.
By the way most altimeters have indicators that read in both millibars and inches of mercury so your point about FAA pilots not knowing about QNH is very much like the rest of your post....nonsense and ignorance.
I hope you are not a pilot, really I do. And if you are I hope you fly Airbus, I hear those things require very little pilot input, and in your case it's for good reason
