it probably depends on where you are from, inside the EU, probably not, outside, i would think that some sort of work permit would be required, i doubt that it is that difficult to obtain, although knowing irish red tape, it could take a bit of time
Your best bet would be to enquire from those already here, shannon has 2 canadians, 2 aussies, and 1 kiwi
not sure about Dublin.
