It was the bottom of the seat that was broken - the rear of it was falling through the frame on the right hand side, leaving me wedged in at an angle. Your info is helpful though as I have complained to Thomson, so it will be interesting to see what they have to say.

It doesn't say anywhere you get IFE on charters but when T-Fly are flying -800s with TVs out of the same airport it makes me question why they use the smallest, oldest aircraft for their longer flights/ (probably capacity I guess). That was a secondary point in any case, I'm okay with the book/ipod/DS/PSP combination!
