I agree with you in regard to the problem with other English forums, those persons that must complain about the spelling are very irritating and I normally reply rather rude to those individuals.

But we must understand that this Scandinavian forum is not entirely Scandinavian because,(unless you are fluent in Finnish) not all aviators are fluent in Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian.

Pprune is a fantastic source for all pilot around the world, look at the amount of members. Therefore to make this forum effective, I think it should be some communality, at least in regard to the language. Otherwise why not use SAF? (By the way 99% Danish).

We in Scandinavia have many common issues to discuss.

1. Low pay comparing to the resofEurope.
2. No pay for wannabes.
3. Licence issues, i.e converting.
4. Why does SAS have monopoly
Scandinavia , and is this
good for the job market?

I have been a pilot for many years and one thing I have learnt is, we must be united in order to make our voice heard.

And finally who cares about the spelling police, most likely they only know one language and live on a tiny island………..
