We use Pilot ANR not bad passive, and good ANR, rechargeable battery's, plug in cords, cell\music socket if required, 3 years no problems with 4 sets.
Also have Lightspeed Mach 3 with custom ear moulds very good very light just a bit fiddly to start with, if you can get use to the in ear thing, you don't know they are on, no batteries to go flat either, don't know if they now do single plug when I got mine only GA twin plug available,
