In response to you curiosity about us foreigners leaving our homeland to get jobs here in HK...my reasons are as follows:
1) to join the advanced training academy at HKA (headed by dick stew) to develop my skills as a 'professional' pilot.
2) to be trained by guys like Lil Dick, JERKOHf and Dick Stew in the art of: how not to follow company SOP's, harrass cabincrew, completely f$#&ing up an approach into ZPPP and ignoring the f/o's advice to go around, pulling the reversers before touching down, pulling the speed brake above 320kts so not to exceed MMO.
3) to learn 'management skills to run an airline into the ground.
4) to learn how to kiss some serious ass to get promoted (eg TY and Cpt Ken)
5) to develop an attitude of being a graduate from the USAF Top Gun Academy but not knowing ****e about flying.
I hope this small passage answers your questions. Oh yea...what are your reasons for not flying in your home country?
