The other aircraft was definatly banking in a direction away from us... I didn't say it and it's kinda hard to explain but I could see the furtherest away wing poking out from beneath the other side of the aircraft, I could partially see the underside (Sorry hard to explain... imagine a 2D drawing
). I assumed it was a non event I just couldn' believe seperation minima could be so small 1000ft in airlines particularly at night when it is hard to see... Anyway thanks for answering I know it's not really the place to post but it's kind of an odd post for someone who's only got 130hrs on Cessnas.
