For one, if your hearing is dear to you, hope for the MD. Quietest cockpit around.
MD has the most varied routestructure of any type in SAS.
737 routes started out very boring and limited, but are getting better and better.
MD´s cockpit looks like something from the war, as compared to that of the 737. (but it works, and it´s fun)
What to choose, if given the right to choose ( and you´re NOT) I´d go with the MD80 any day. And I´m sure the 737 guys and gal´s will say the same.
