I wonder how a Chinese or anyone of different color would be treated if they were to show up in Sydney and take on a flying job with their national airlines? Probably not very good!
Before posting such a stupid comment did you ever stop and think for one second why expats are in HK and other Asian countries not only flying aeroplanes but working in finance, education, construction etc? The reality is that they need us where as in most of our home countries pilots teachers etc are falling out of the trees they are that plentiful. Even in these times of a pilot shortage in my home country of Australia, there are more pilots than jobs going round and yes foreign pilots are being granted work visas to work there.
By the way, I have many Chinese friends here in HK. All of them know why I am here and have no problem with it.
