Due to changing market conditions and a review of its route network, XL has decided to cancel its winter Caribbean programme from November 2008. In common with other airlines, XL Airways has experienced significant fuel increases which combined with a downturn in demand on some transatlantic routes has led XL to focus on its profitable long haul Florida services and its core short and medium haul market.
