Yeah man! I remember a few departures off RWY 19. When the 727 is light, the bird can really go! Have you ever seen 'em do a "soft field" takeoff on 14? They do it when they are not so heavy and want to rocket off on FRG 3 departure with those JT8D low bypass turbofans. Wonderful aircraft to work with. As tough as RAMBO! Only aircraft that competes with the 727 for the world's loudest WHINER is the Lear 24. Those CJ610's pack a serious punch on the decibel scale! Try marshaling one of those whiners off your ramp. Your ears will ring like a bell!
As for the lil buses' handling, they all handle the same bro'. That's the nature of FBW.
