I agree with DenizDs view about the Airbus...but Tech & maintenance wise...I say Boeing (just left the 777-300ER today in hangar B DXB...reg. A6-EBJ), anyways...the 777 cockpit looks Luxurious while the Airbuses' looks Modern.
I heard from a pilot that the A320 has a higher ground effect when landing (lift reduces as it reaches the ground...negative vertical speed increases), while in the 737...The ground effect is lower...smoother landing, but sometimes you fight the 737 down when landing...
When going through my last assignment about the B777-300ER & A340-500 Auto Flight Control Systems...found out that the Boeings have smoother reactions to turbulences while Airbuses do have rigid reactions (certain popular cases)... & found out that the L1011s AFCS is better...
