You can easily convert your FAA to CAN licence (only medical, 40 questions air law exam, no flight test) see transport Canada web site.

Then if you have wife and kid you can apply for immigration and will be welcome in Canada (we need tax payers) if you don t have this package you can come to Canada and find a wife...
