Unfortunately, we are not always encouraged to carry enough fuel to make a go round and circuit to land in the event of simply buggering up the approach
You should always have enough fuel to make a go-around from any approach for whatever reason; this would be particularly so for an approach which will not be stable by 500 ft AAL at the latest, which by continuing would then constitute an approach which is unstable with unnaceptable safety margins.
