Ah no, i think you've misunderstood me; The MEP rating was issued last year, just expired in April thus requiring a proficiency check to "revalidate" it...i just need to know if it has to be current for me to get my IR issued by the CAA! As far as i know i shouldn't require any additional training/retake the ground exam unless its been expired for over 5 years...however i have been known to be wrong =P
