Dear VV, perhaps you could send this link to your MP. It's only when you move to the third world you realize how little value we put on our citizenship. In the MiddlEast, it's like every second person you meet is Canadian (but thinks hockey is played on grass!). And somehow, every pilot from a third world country which does not have the UK passport has the Canadian one (and they love to rub it in your face, telling you how stupid we are to give them and their families free healthcare and higher education).
