What would be more interesting is the "Terms" that you finally accepted. If you would be kind enough to share it with the forum, then your fellow pilots may have an opportunity to avail themselves to a reasonable level of remuneration.
That is of course unless it has been deemed confidential. Something along the lines of.. "Ok, we'll pay you this, but don't let it get out. The last thing we want is others thinking they are worth the same."
Now my above comment is speculation of course, and I'm sure you would be happy to set the record straight.
