Ryr Leeds Base
Hi, don't think this has been mentioned. The Ryanair inflight magazine currently has a section on places to visit at its Europe wide bases. There is also information on routes from these bases. The four British airports mentioned are Stansted, Newquay, Prestwick and LEEDS. It states Leeds has 20 routes including Cork and Bergerac. This and the fact that LBA was shown as a base for a few days on the Ryanair website would seem to suggest that RYR thought the deal might be done by now. Perhaps the airport are insistant on particular routes (i.e. reduced overlap with LS). Personally I think having a base at LBA would be ideal for RYR as it is virtually central to the North of England, having millions of people living only an hour or so away. Any thoughts?p.s.
