Hooded, my comments weren't aimed at you in particular and I agree with your comments that in your specific case (excuse the pun)there could have been some leeway. I was basing my comments on the people I have experienced (flying with both FR and EZY)who have not read the rules and then complain bitterly about how they have been 'treated'. Personally I quite like your quote as I tend to try and bend rules in general but I know where the rules are fixed and when flying with FR I am always well prepared!
