CVT's (and other airports) costs may be increasing soon, there's a Transport Security bill going through Parliament after the break which will pass the policing costs from local councils on to the airports - bringing the regionals into line with LHR,LGW etc.
Some may see it as a levelling of the playing field
BHX have paid for the police presence and provided a station for them for years and it's not cheap!!!
