Too much 'staining' up inside the wings for me. Someone else must have thought it was OK though. It was imported into the country eight months after I gave it a miss.
It does look like it could get a bit flaky but probably has years left in it. Thats the problem with decades old planes - cannot turm the clock back even if they have sat around doing very little. Great pic though - shows how little corrosion protection they got back then. Cessna did not waste a cent splashing around the old green stuff in those days. I had an all original 182RG. They even must have painted it with the gear doors shut as was all bare aluminium inside, not a spot of paint anywhere.
Anyway, might not be the lowest time, but the best most gorgeous, most pampered, immaculate, best equipped (P)210 in Australia?
