....an old flight chief told me once, "you only know you chose the right airline to work for, the day you pick up your first retirement cheque". If the company you currently work for is stable and you are high enough up on the seniority list to feel you have the chance of an upgrade soon, I would suggest staying put, at least until the economic downturn passes.
