i use a Peltor in my akrobatic aircraft because of the IO540 which makes a bit of noise and the fact that it is very light which helps when pulling G's. On the L 1011 I used a regular Telex because the noise was very low. I like a headset that I can comfortably pull one side off when in cruise so I can hear the other crew/passengers. Good luck.
