Does anyone know what caused the delays. My gf was traveling on
VB departing Sydney. They pushed out at 6.15 then held on the taxiway for for 20 mins before departing, apparently the captain made a PA saying that there was a class 1 medical emerancy at the airport and they had to wait for it to land. She could see several other aircraft holding close by as well.
I thought even a med 1 flight had traffic operating normally around it, just had the highest priority. Maybe Nicole Kidmans G5 was arriving too around the same time, but being a private flight they wouldnt hold normal ops for them I gathger?
Any ideas.......just curious more than anything.
